Walker Scientific Capacitive Discharge Magnetizing Systems are the most versatile systems available in the market today. Starting with the XLE series producing 50 joules up to 1,000 joules and the 6600, 6900 and the 2500 Series, which start at 2.5 kilojoules and can go as high as 100 kilojoules of energy. Compare the Smart Magnetizer Option. It offers an interactively designed NT Windows PC controlled Magnetizing System. The 6600, 6900 and 2500 Series Smart CDM Systems can be configured to magnetize, condition and demagnetize using Hall effect sensors, inductive pick up coils or other electronic or magnetic sensors.
Walker Scientific can offer turnkey stand-alone workstations that combine magnetizing/conditioning operations with other assembly or manufacturing processes. The Models 6600, 6900 and 2500 Series Magnetizing Systems offer as standard PLC interface to other manufacturing equipment.

The magnetizing fixture is the critical component of a magnetizing system. There are many different
styles and types of magnetizing fixtures. Fixture design can be very simple to very complex.
They must be designed such that they are capable of handling extremely high currents, which can result in high heat and stresses that can cause premature fixture failure. Most if not
